$8 Million Dollar Atlantis Renovation of the Royal Towers in the Bahamas

Atlantis is close to completing the $8 million renovations in the Royal Towers, which employed more than 100 Bahamians via the hiring of local contractors.
The resort’s senior vice-president of public affairs, Ed Fields, said: “The rooms have been revamped in terms of colour scheme and furniture changes to create a more modern, lush and inviting space.
“New cabinetry was also added to the bathrooms and topped with green marble vanities for added storage. Also, our guest rooms now have two sets of peepholes in the doors – regular height and a lower peephole for children or persons in wheelchairs.
“We want to keep our guests coming back year after year, and so with these upgrades we’ll hopefully continue to give them that promised ‘blow away’ experience through our service and our product.”
